More bad news...2 or 3 of my transplants are in terrible shape. I'll be declaring them legally dead in the next day or two. I'm suspecting the Chickity Doo Doo as there's no other reason for it. A few others may also be ailing. I have to say I'm disappointed.
Now the good news. Have been wondering where I was going to score some free compost/dirt to fill the garden. My neighbor just dug up a spot in his yard that has been mulched for the last several years and was looking to get rid of the soil. Awesome...it more than enough filled my garden and the pots I have. Might have to pick out some larger pieces but overall it looks like great dirt.
