wash your hands before you pee, or don't, because it doesn't really help that much

Gardening fun 2009 --- pots

red slims --- may not look like it but these are really taking off after surviving the cold and rain

Purple Flourescent --- again slow to get going but buried deep and lots of new growth now.

Charleston --- Best looking pepper Joe plant -- new leaves and bigger leaves everyday.

Jalapenos --- from a local vendor --- I needed to boost my ego with this pic
All in all, I have lost 5 peppers I believe due to cold weather and overly wet conditions. Since it has warmed up and I found a good fertilizer the plants are showing new growth daily. If this warm weather continues I think I will get a decent yield out of my pepper Joe plants. If not I have 2 carribean habs, 1 banana, 1 cayenne, and 2 Japs that I'm already picking buds off of so I will get something from those.
I will have to say that my plants in the pots are growing much better than my garden plants. I used the same soil for both and I've fertilized both the same, but the potted peppers have alot more new growth and the stems are thicker.
Anyone making hot sauce?? I plan on trying to make a real hot version and a medium version. Looking for some recipes for that as well as some less chunky salsa as the wife and kids don't like the big chunks.
