Weekend Activity

Trip to Stein's this weekend yielded some larger inexpensive pots ($1.29 each) and fertilizer. Who can resist "poo" based marketing? Not this guy. If I need to make a choice between competing products, I will always go with the one that has "doo doo" in the name.



My Santa Fe Grande has officially quit. It grew a few cm and then shriveled up and died. Mustard Habanero is still tiny but isn't shriveling up like the SFG. Still no Bulgarian Carrot and two of the Thai Sun's I replanted 2 weekends ago are not coming up.

Batch #1 continues to thrive. More pics of those maybe later this week.

I had two Fluorescent Purples competing in the same pot so I plucked one of them today. Jamie said the roots were impressive on a few that he plucked but I'm here to disagree. I did replant the one I plucked in a separate pot...we'll see if it adapts.
