Stansell garden in mid October

We had a couple nights in the low 30's, but the garden survived. Still hoping to get more peppers, tomatoes, beans and okra.

Naga Jolokia peppers in OK

A friend gave me a "kit" with some naga jolokia (a.k.a. ghost pepper) seeds from which I now have two plants in the ground. These will have to be taken in over the winter, but if all goes well I should have some peppers that are far too hot for me next summer :-).

August 2nd in Wisconsin

Cukes and green peppers are going great guns.

Picked my first tomato today and jalapeno too. Time to start finding time for salsa making weekend.

Peppers and carrots

We ate our first Thai, jalapeno and Anaheim peppers yesterday.  The peppers are sharing their space with a few carrots.
